We accept WIC Project Fresh and Senior Market Fresh.
WIC Project Fresh. WIC Project FRESH coupons provide 5-$25 coupons/vouchers for women enrolled in the Michigan WIC program. The program operate from June 1 - October 31 each year giving these individuals the ability to purchase locally grown, fresh, unprepared fruits and vegetables. Prior to receiving the coupons, individuals are required to attend a nutritional education course. If interested, please contact the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
Senior Market Fresh. This is a government program administered by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Aging and Adult Services Office. Qualifying seniors are given 10-$2.00 vouchers that can be used in Michigan where the coupons are accepted. Participants also receive nutrition education when receiving their coupons. Coupons are to be used between May 1 and October 31 each year. A proxy can be assigned if difficulty persists getting to a from a vendor. To qualify a potential participant must be at least 60 years of age, have a total household income of 185% of poverty or less, and live in the county where the coupons are issued. Steele Farm Bucks
Every month during the market season we give away $10 in Steele Farm Bucks just for stopping by our market booth and entering our drawing. You can enter up to once per market. Drawing takes place on the last Saturday of the month. If you win, Steele Farm Bucks need not be redeemed in one transaction, but they do need to be redeemed during the year won.
